陳英:約翰霍普金斯大學神經科學博士,哈佛大學博士后。曾在國際知名生物公司先后擔任研發(fā)部研究員、高級研究員、研發(fā)部副總監(jiān)職務,擁有建立高通量ORF克隆技術并完成人類16,000種ORF克隆生產,人類基因腺病毒庫的生產?,F擔任我公司副總經理,分管公司研發(fā)生產與技術支持。
陳英博士在北京大學生命科學學院開始就師從中國科學院院士翟中和從事細胞核骨架和細胞核在體外重建的研究,并在翟中和實驗室完成碩士的學習。自本科期間就在實驗生物學報,中國科學和 cell research發(fā)表三篇論文。在北大期間一共發(fā)表學術文章六篇,包括在兩篇國外期刊。畢業(yè)論文被評為畢業(yè)生優(yōu)秀論文,收藏于北京大學圖書館。
陳英博士在約翰霍普金斯大學醫(yī)學院博士學習期間,研究集中于神經細胞內凸處后端的受體和細胞微絲的結構和功能組織,發(fā)現了一種新的微絲結合蛋白,并確認了該蛋白在受體和細胞微絲的結構和功能組織中的重要作用。該研究多次被同行引用,并被其他研究人員在實驗中獨立驗證。在此基礎上發(fā)表了研究論文兩篇,和合作論文一篇。
陳英博士在哈佛大學兒童醫(yī)院從事博士后研究期間(2004-2007),主要從事維生素NAD在保護神經細胞損傷,和activin/TGFβ信號傳導在促進神經細胞再生方面的研究。與他人合作發(fā)表論文一篇。他與其他兩家實驗室同時獨立地發(fā)現了activin/TGFβ信號傳導在促進神經細胞再生方面的作用,其研究結果與約翰霍普金斯大學醫(yī)學院一家實驗室的結果類似,這一研究結果受到知名期刊評委的好評,相關研究曾在冷泉港神經生物學會議中報告。陳英博士在研究中發(fā)現一種化合物可以抑制activin/TGFβ信號傳導并可以促進神經細胞損傷后的修復,這一結果在其他兩家實驗室也都得到了驗證,在博士后的這兩項研究均已申請專利。
